Got 15???

Well, I do.  My challenge to myself recently has been to find 15 minutes in every day to stop and create.  It doesn't actually have to be something I finish but I do need to make the time to head into my room and get in the zone.  Maybe it's just to sit and ponder over things to get some inspiration or maybe it's to pull out a few items I want to use for the next day.  How about a little doodling? or zentangle?  What about getting a journal book out and just adding gesso to a few pages.  Maybe you can try it too?

Here's a journal page that I actually did in three days along with starting another one as well as a wooden plaque.  That's just 45 minutes out of the 3 days and I got all that accomplished!  Not too bad :)

For this page I started with a gesso page and added Pan Pastels to the background.  Stamping was next and then some modeling paste with a stencil.  After that dried I added more Pan pastels over the modeling paste.  The flower was made out of book paper and pleated around a carboard circle piece.

I'll be back soon to show you some more finished items from my 15 minutes of craftiness :)
