Serenity

So I've been working hard to use up some of my leftover kit club pieces this past weekend.  One kit I had some leftovers from was a Girls Paperie kit.  I found a cute sketch from The Scrappiest so I decided to play along.  Here's the outcome:

New Stamps for me :)

I made some cards, I made some cards, yipee!!!!  Not a regular occurance for me so I'm happy that I did them and I actually LOVE them.

I purchased some new stamps at the Scrapbook Expo in Orlando by The Rubber Cafe.  I LOVE THEM so much!!  They stamp so perfectly, better than most I've tried.  At the expo they had some examples of cards.  I used those examples to come up with these two.

I love the added glitter :)

These cards I used for my Mother's day cards to my Mom and Mother-in-Law.
They loved them.

A Mother's Heart

Today I want to share with you the gift I gave my mother for Mother's day.  I made a She Art for her.  This actually does look like her.  The colors I used are ones she is comfortable with.  She also wears quite a lot of black and jackets too!

Thanks for stopping in :)

Today we are celebrating the wonderful, talented Pamela who began Scrapbook Challenges. She is moving on from the group and we will truly miss her.  She's been a wonderful inspiration to me and am so thankful for her giving me the chance to be on the design team.

We have a ton of prizes so make sure you check below to see how you can win them.

Here's the sketch I chose and my layout:

Gone with the Wind

Last weekend my daughter and I spent the day working on some mixed media girls.  She wanted to make one to match her room.  One of her favorite things is the movie "Gone with the Wind". She decided to make Scarlet with a quote from the movie.  She found a drawing online to use as a guide.  It was a really good match even down to the size so we where able to cut it up to use as a pattern for the dress.   Here's the final outcome.....Can you tell her room is Pink/Grey?
