Friends, Love and Faith Blog Hop

Today I'm very excited to be a part of this awesome Blog Hop with some wonderful crafty ladies!

Welcome to Paper Tree House Studio's
Friends, Love, and Faith Blog Hop.

Today, we're out in force on the internet -- showing our faith and giving the glory to God. United, we stand as Christian paper crafters and blogowners to make a presence on the internet for all to see. If you are hopping with us, you should have hopped over from Iris Babao Uy (I <3 her work! <3<3).

If you happened to just come across this post and you want to join in on the fun, make sure you jump over to the beginning (My Paper Tree House) so that you do not miss out.

We're celebrating the theme of faith and we're happy to share our projects with you based on the verse:

*"*...those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar
on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and
not be faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

First, we would like to take a moment to thank our generous co-sponsors:

ZutterPaper TrunkCreate 365, Memorable Seasons, Scrapbook News and Review, as well as Papperie. Together with Paper Tree House, these companies have donated some wonderful prizes for today's blog hop.

Prizes? Oh, yeah! There will be three lucky grand prize winners for today's event.

To enter, simply hop through the blogs and take note of all of the participating DT members of Paper Tree House Studio, and make sure to jot down the "blessed words" they will have in their post, and leave a comment on their posts. Once you gather all of the words, you will have another special Scripture to inspire you to create while leaving His legacy. Then send us an email at mypapertreehousedt@gmail.com listing each of the staff members who participated in today's hop and the completed Scripture. It's that easy. All entries must be received by Monday, February 28, 2011 at 12 noon, EST and seven winners will be randomly chosen to win.

What are the prizes?

One Cricut Gypsy from Paper Tree House Studio
One Bind-it-All from Zutter
One baggy of goodies from Create 365
One baggy of goodies from Papperie
One baggy of goodies from Paper Trunk
One year subscription to Scrapbook News and Review
One $15 gift card to Memorable Seasons so that you can purchase your favorite goodies!!

In addition, many of our participating bloggers will have amazing blog candy and RAKS available for one of their blessed visitors by simply leaving a comment and becoming a follower on their blog. That's a lot of chances to win, so let's get to the Hop!

Here's a card I made for a Friend.  A little encouragement of Faith!

Here's a little Spring RAK for one of my commenters :)

Valentine Blog Hop

Love is in the air and the Challenge Master Divas are celebrating by having a blog hop!
The hop is going to run from Friday January 28th until Sunday January 30th. We have lots of prizes, fun and inspiration for you this weekend. If you have arrived from Jamilie's Blog you are on the right track. If you just got here then you need to head over to our Stash/Tag Diva Tammy's blog to get started.

All of the Divas are creating love inspired projects for you to enjoy. We also each have a word for a secret phrase. You need to stop by each blog and collect the words (they are all jumbled so you will need to visit each one) and once you have unscrambled them, send the phrase to tealeaf@shaw.ca to be entered to win one of the two grand prizes. We each have a small blog prize as well so you want to make sure that you stop by all the blogs and leave us some love, so that you have multiple chances to win!

Another way to win, is to create your own love inspired project and remember it can be anything you love (a person, a place, a thing, a hobby..whatever love means to you) and upload it to the Challenge Master’s Gallery in the forum. You will have until Sunday February 13th to enter your projects and then after careful deliberation a winner will be announced on our challenge blog! The grand prize winner will receive a great prize pack donated by our Stash & Tag Diva Tammy! You don’t want to miss out on this so start creating! You can enter as many times as you wish as long as you create new projects each time.

Here's my project for you......a cute little mini book:

Materials: My Mind's Eye "Love Me Do" line, Prima Flowers, Misc. Lace

One lucky commenter will win this RAK from me.  It's a Basic Grey 2011 Calendar Kit!
In order to win you must leave a comment and tell me one thing you LOVE. Don't forget to put that in, only those comments will be entered! The winner will be announced on Monday, Jan. 31st. The winner must contact me with their addy.

My word for your secret phrase is:
LOVE

Holiday Blog Hop Today!

Hello Everone!  Welcome to Scrap Tiffany's Holiday Blog Hop.  We're so glad you could come join us for some Holiday inspiration!
If you happened here on your own and would like to participate in the Blog Hop,
please start at Scrap Tiffany.

For today's hop I decided to make a Christmas Wreath.  I found many examples of this online and thought I would give it a try.  It was very simple to make.

Here's some directions for you.  First I started off with a 1 1/2" scallop punch.  You can adjust this based on the size of the wreath.  This was a small foam base only about 7". I also bought a thesaurus at the $1 store.  You may use a whole book depending on the size of the wreath.

After I punched out some I inked them with distressing ink (Tim Holtz- Red Barn and Shabby Shutters).  Only do a portion of these at a time.  You will need a ton of them but the inking is tedious and I know with me I get bored doing the same thing over and over so I took breaks and switched what I was doing.  You can also mist them if you like but I was going for more color and the ink seemed to work best for that.

Use a pencil to scrunch around the bottom and then hot glue each piece to the wreath base.

I hope you all enjoy the wreath.  I'd love to know if you make one yourself!

I will be giving away a little Christmas RAK to one of you all.
All you have to do is leave a comment on this post!

Now, it's time for you to head over to the fabulous Jennifer
